Jazz Singer, Christi Bye performs, “America the Beautiful” Cabaret Style

Vocalist Christi John Bye, a native of Kansas City, MO, grew up performing classical, country, pop, musical theater, and jazz, providing her with a diverse foundation of musical styles for her performances today. Educated at Belmont University in Nashville, Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, and Gnesins Academy of Music in Moscow, Russia, Bye has worked as a recording studio singer, performer at Opryland, classical recitalist, music educator, choral director, and jazz singer with the bands Two Times True and Nightfall. Bye has sung all over the country, including Nashville, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, and New York City. Bye moved to Darien in early 2023 with her husband of twenty-five years, Jake, and their three boys, Gareth (15), Harlan and Baden (11). She looks forward to bringing her passion for music and live performance to Connecticut.
