CRAFTLAB Tours and Tricorn Hats on Election Day
$10.00
Children with an accompanying adult are invited to join us for a drop in workshop and tour to learn more about how kids lived 250 years ago. Museum of Darien educators will lead a tour of the museum’s 1736 Bates-Scofield Homestead followed by a workshop to make a revolutionary tricorn hat!
Tricorn hats were a popular style of fashion during the 1700s. Often they would help colonial travelers keep their heads safe from the weather. Use construction paper, ribbon, and stickers to create your own version of this revolutionary accessory.
