Save the Date – Darien Dresses Up!
This anticipated exhibition celebrates '100 Years of Style' with 27 dresses from 1890-1990 selected from the Museum's extensive collection donated by the Darien community over the years. Annual Meeting and Lecture on Greens Ledge Lighthouse
This lecture will take place at First Congregational Church, followed by a reception at the Museum of Darien for a private view of our costume exhibit: Darien Dresses Up: 100 Years of Style! Speaker: Tim Pettee, President of The Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society, will discuss the incredible story of saving one of our area’s most important sea landmarks, and the history of New England Lighthouses with a focus on Sparkplug lighthouses.
