Ken Reiss’ lifelong pursuit of history has in re Ken Reiss’ lifelong pursuit of history has in recent years been sharply focused on the story of Darien, where he has made his home for the past 32 years. Join the @darienlibrary and Museum of Darien, as we listen to Ken delve into the town’s past and discover how Darien gained its independence from Stamford in 1820!

Between 1750 and 1850, thousands of quilts were pi Between 1750 and 1850, thousands of quilts were pieced and patched in the US, many are preserved and cherished. A quilt is a cloth sandwich, with a top, which is usually the decorated part, a back, and a filler in the middle. They come in different patterns and tell stories through colors and stitches.
