Museum of Darien is delighted to present 30 paintings including landscapes, portraits and florals by 12 turn-of-the-century artists who lived and worked in Darien. Most received formal training either abroad in Italy or Paris or stateside at Boston School of Fine Arts, Chicago Art Institute or with notable American Impressionists. A few become nationally acclaimed while participating in Darien’s Guild of the Seven Arts and teaching locally.
